Lori Lieske is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist based in Seattle. Over the past two decades, she has explored creative expression through metal, acrylic, watercolor, and ink. Her early work focused on jewelry design—pieces that balanced structure, texture, and emotion through metal and stone. Her creative path has woven through several design disciplines, including studies in Residential Design at the Art Institute of Seattle and Fashion Design at Newcastle University in England.

These early explorations continue to influence her eye for form, color, and composition across all mediums. Lieske later expanded her practice to painting, drawn to the immediacy and emotional range that color provides. She further developed her skills through courses at Pratt Fine Arts Center, blending formal techniques with an intuitive, self-guided approach to discovery and storytelling. Her work is driven by the stories she wants to tell through images and design—stories of resilience, connection, and transformation.
